I think I agree with Julio Cesar statement to Jabulani. The ball is mentioned as 'Supermarket ball' by Brazilian number 1 goalkeeper. Iker Casillas and Gigi Buffon are also complaining the ball quality. Now, until 2nd matchday I see 3 blunders from the goalkeeper. and I make an assumption that the blunder is caused by Jabulani bad movements.
1. Of course Robert Green's blunder against USA. Low strike from Clint Dempsey couldn't be held By Green. And make the score 1-1. If you watch Green carefully he keeps his eye on the ball, does not look away. He hands are below the ball, he doesn't move them prematurely. But he's not CENTERED, he's off to the side of the ball's path. The ball takes a somewhat eccentric bounce, hits the glove at the wrist, and bounces to the side away.
2. Faouzi Chaouchi's blunder against Slovenia. The Algerian Goalkeeper couldn't hold Robert Koren's strike well. And it gives a win for Slovenia. Chaouchi terribly misread the shot, diving to his left but failing to extend his arms. The ball skipped past him into the net. Koren, who plays in England for West Brom, appeared as shocked as anyone that his effort found net. Chaouchi's blunder was not as bad as Robert Green's gaffe.
nb: England and Algeria are in the same group. Oh my gosh!
3. Eiji Kawashima's goalkeeping blunder gifted Holland their second victory. Great strike from Wes Sneijder, but actually Kawashima could stop the ball, but the deflection brought the ball tho the wrong way. Yes, I mean to the Japan goal. Very very unlucky.
